Hi Roland,

while playing with dead time control for my extruders i thought that can't be too bad to have an autotune option for this heat manager like M303 for PID - to calculate the dead time value from a measured period.

6.2.2. Developer: Native Instruments. /download-vst-native-instruments.html. Developer site: native-instruments.com. Year / Release Date:.

Just like the manual temperature graph analysis - only automated..

Idea?

Yes, shouldn't be too complicated. At least the timing part. And timing should be more exact with such a tool. Have put it on the feature request list, so i do not forget it.

Auto

Heyhey,
I'd like to ask whether this is still being considered? I just can't seem to reliably calibrate the thing myself.
Thanks!

Auto tune repetier host list

commented Jul 28, 2015

My setup is a Rumba Board with Repetier 0.92.3, with 1 nozzle heater, 3 extruders and 1 heated bed installed. Heating up the bed using M140 or M190 works fine. PID also works fine on bed and extruders.

But the PID autotune for the heated bed seems to be broken, I tried

M303 P C8 S110
M303 P-1 C8 S110
M303 E-1 C8 S110

All of these cause Repetier to start the PID autotune for the installed nozzle heater, not the bed. Probably a typo somewhere in the code.

i had the same issue, had to use P3 in order to work

Repetier Host Download

P sets heater. 0-2 are extruder 02 and P3 is then the bed.
