Cook has written several songs, but only a few are recorded by other artists. The track 'No Reply' was written and originally intended to be featured in Cook's self-titled debut album, but the track was later sent to Frankie Negrón and was recorded and released as a single in 2010, where the track was later included in the album Independence Day.
In 2014, Cook wrote the track 'Kiss You Tonight', along with writers Jay Knowles and Trent Summer, for country artist David Nail, which was released as the second single for the album I'm a Fire. This was the third song Cook wrote for himself after relocating to Nashville in 2012, but he felt that the song didn't suit him. Summer recorded the demo and was sent to Joe Fisher at UMG who put it on hold for David Nail.

'Permanent' is a song recorded by American rock singer David Cook. Written by Cook, Chantal Kreviazuk, and Raine Maida, its lyrics make allusions to Cook's late brother, Adam, who had battled with brain cancer before his death from this disease. The song was performed on the finale of season 8 of the TV show American Idol, and the performance then released onto iTunes as a charity single via RCA Records on May 18, 2009. It also appears on his debut studio album, David Cook (2008).
Nov 30, 2018 Forums Products TRAKTOR Area TRAKTOR PRO / TRAKTOR SCRATCH PRO TRAKTOR Pro 3 not working with Windows 10. Discussion in 'TRAKTOR PRO / TRAKTOR SCRATCH PRO' started by Gary Moulliet, Nov 30, 2018. Gary Moulliet New Member. Hi all I just purchased TRAKTOR Pro 3 and loaded it on my Windows 10 computer. However, when I click on. Locate your TRAKTOR application file ('Traktor.exe') and right-click on it. Select Properties from the context menu. Switch to the Compatibility tab. Check the option Disable display scaling on high DPI settings and then confirm with Apply. Regarding my upgrade from Scratch Duo 1 to Scratch Pro 2 to be able to use this software on my laptop running Windows 10. Doing so was supposed to upgrade my older Scratch Duo version to Scratch Pro 2! I also read this in the forums to verify if this would work from DUO 1 - Scratch Pro 2. So I followed instructions and purchased the Traktor pro 2. I've just got a new laptop, downloaded Native Access & downloaded my version Traktor Scratch Pro 2. But it wont load, i have deleted it & reinstalled, but its still not loading. I still have a copy on my old laptop that works fine but need to get it working on the new one any help is much appreciated. Traktor scratch pro stars not working.
All proceeds from iTunes sales of the American Idol finale performance of the song will go to ABC2 (Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure).
