  • Download a preset pack from https://www.noiiz.com/presets
  • Unzip the pack
  • Open your chosen DAW (we've gone for Logic Pro X in this case)
  • Load up Serum in a new instrument track

Installing Presets

  • In Serum, click Menu (top right) then Show Serum Presets folder.
  • Open the Presets folder - this will open Finder on Mac or File Explorer on Windows.
  • Create a new folder to store your Noiiz presets, we called this one 'Noiiz Test'
  • Drag and drop the presets into the folder. You can drag individual .fxp files or whole folders. It should look something like this..
  • In Serum, refresh your Serum presets be selecting MENU > RESCAN FOLDERS ON DISK.
  • You should now be able to access your new Serum presets!

Note: To remove Serum presets, simply follow step 5 to locate the folder and delete the presets/folders you no longer need. Then refresh.

Stations stopped broadcasting traditional analog TV signals. There was no signal on that frequency (at least for a brief time).2. /what-is-dtv-in-auto-tuning.html. From the example above, channel 11 turned off their analog TV transmitter on RF channel 11. At some time on June 12, 2009 most US TV stations did the following:1. It seems confusing to have the station identifying itself as 'channel 11' broadcasting at the same time on 2 different RF TV channel frequencies, RF channel 11 and RF channel 19, but this was necessary prior to June 12, 2009 because stations needed a second frequency to allow them to broadcast using the new DTV format while continuing to broadcast analog TV on their original frequencies.

Installing Custom Wavetables

Please note: Not all Serum preset packs come with custom wavetables, if your pack does please follow the instructions below:

  • In Serum, click Menu (top right) then Show Serum Presets folder again, which will show the Serum Presets folder on your hard drive.
  • Open the Tables folder, then the User folder inside (if you have not opened this folder before you will probably see a text file called 'SaveYourTablesHere.txt').
  • Drag-and-drop the entire Wavetables folder here (You may want to rename it so it's easy to find). In this case we have used the Wavetables from 'Serum: Neon Flutter' by Poztman.
  • Now refresh your wavetables by selecting MENU > RESCAN FOLDERS ON DISK. We recommend rescanning whenever you make changes to these folders.
  • You should now be able to load in your custom wavetables to OSC A and OSC B!

That's it! If you have any trouble loading your Serum presets or tables, please don't hesitate to get in touch by clicking the button below.

Little snitch show local traffic. The more particular and secure you want your network profile to be, the more options you can manipulate. IDGRules editing lets you set very fine controls. If you’re interested in highly granular control of inbound and outbound connections, you can use Little Snitch’s Configuration app to create and refine rules. This is true in preferences, too, which have a lot of fiddly settings that more advanced or secure users will want to look at.One that might be useful, and isn’t in the default Deny/Allow popup, is Ask for Connection. For most people, this will be overkill, but there’s a deep bottom to how much you can learn and tweak.
