A similar machine was used by Eddie Kramer during the late ’60s at London’s Olympic Studios to record some of rock’s most classic tracks, by artists including Jimi Hendrix, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and Traffic. Another plugin by Waves, the Kramer Master Tape is an earlier tape emulator produced before they introduce J37. Kramer Master is modeled on a vintage ¼” reel-to-reel machine and has adjustable controls for bias, wow, flutter and tape speed. To quickly resolve your problem, we recommend download and use Waveshell-vst 5.0.dll Fix Tool. If you have technical experience and you want to install a. Sep 04, 2015 i have made an uptade to waves 9.2 to 9.3 waveshell. And now my old project made with 9.2 didnt work. 9,2 have been earase. And waves just tell me at every updte the old vers. And the proble come from FL studio.
Hi, I had one Waves plug installed - it was working fine. Today I got a second one - and everything has to install from Waves central. I just copy the Waves shell file to my VST folder (to keep it with everything else) but the problem is this: The old file was called WaveShell-VST 9.2x64.dll (Kramer Tape) and the new one is WaveShell-VST 9.6x64.dll (Kramer Tape and API 2500) If I don't delete the old file it wants me to show it the Waves plugin folder every time SONAR starts - but won't accept anything. I'm pretty sure it should be C: Program Files (x86) Waves Plug-Ins V9 or maybe the shell folder It won't accept anything though. If I do delete the old file - all SONAR files (even a blank new one) want to reference WaveShell-VST 9.2x64.dll. So all my old files that had a Kramer Tape loaded will fail because this dll is missing! Has anyone been through this?
I've uninstalled everything (in Waves central) and reinstalled (then I copy the shell file to my location) - but SONAR insists on referencing the old file - and I can't use the old file, because it won't accept the 'Waves plugin location'. If anyone knows how to get past this - could you let me know? +1 to WAVES support being amazing I was having trouble installing my SSL bundle (which I had on trial) and in the midst of getting annoyed I got an email from WAVES (from a real person) asking how things were going and to get in touch if I had any issues, which I did Within 30mins I got a reply with the correct advice (the issue was completely my fault as I had installed the plugins but not activated them!! Doh!!!) Once you get your head around the way WAVES does things you will be up and running and be able to add to your WAVES collection without any problems.
